National Beer Wholesalers Association's new chief communications officer is Lauren Kane. She has previous experience in the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs and in the Treasury Department Office of Public Affairs.

A small public affairs firm, Advanced Advocacy, launched its 2nd Annual Charity September Suit Drive. Partnering with Central Union Mission, a faith-based nonprofit, Advanced Advocacy’s founder Andrew Kovalcin is reaching out to friends and colleagues to break last year’s record of over 90 suits collected.

Want to donate? Advanced Advocacy dry cleans the suits and will even come to pick them up from your home or office. If you want to contribute, shoot them a note:

National Confectioners Association president & CEO John Downs announced today that Liz Clark, currently vice president of government affairs, has been promoted to senior vice president of public policy, Christopher Gindlesperger, currently vice president of public affairs & communications, has been promoted to senior vice president of public affairs & communications and chief of staff Elise Fennig has been promoted to chief of staff and senior vice president of operations.
